When Apple introduced the iPhone 4S with Siri, it opened a whole new world, especially to jailbreak developers who can easily create tweaks for Siri. So keeping with the tradition we now have another Siri tweak which is simply amazing. It is called AssistantLove.
AssistantLove Cydia tweak takes Siri to a next level by integrating it with the popular music service Spotify which for those Spotify fans is there makes this Cydia tweak a must have.
Besides getting seemingly endless song via Spotify integration it has GPS navigation which basically means integration Siri with third party GPS services such as TomTom, Waze, etc. So definitely makes this AssistantLove Cydia tweak awesome.
What else has been packed inside this awesome tweak from the developer John Coates? The ability to create your own custom commands for Siri. Although we have already seen custom commands for Siri, this tweak gives you the ability to launch specific apps.
Here is what to expect from AssistantLove:
AssistantLove extends Siri’s capabilities.
Integration with Spotify means you’re no longer limited to your own music library when you ask Siri to play music. You have full access to Spotify’s library of millions of songs right from Siri. This feature requires the spotify app to be installed.
AssitantLove includes integration with GPS apps so when you ask Siri for directions Siri will launch your turn by turn navigation system with directions proloaded. Currently spports TomTom, Waze, MotionX-GPS, and Navigation.
AssistantLove launches apps intelligently, so when you want to open “Battlefield 3” you can just ask it to open “Battlefield 3”. Adding aliases to your apps is easy also, you can request to open “recipes” instead of saying “Epicurious”.
Settings toggling has been added to turn on/off Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, your phone’s flash-light, and Mono Audio.
All options are availble under the AssistantLove menu in the settings app.
Many more features are planned and in progress. You can choose what gets added next. Click on Feature Request in the settings menu to vote on what you want or suggest an idea!
The app is currently available under BigBoss repo for $1.99. So folks go ahead and download AssistantLove!
