The activation error on iOS 7 reads out “this device is not registered as part of the iPhone Developer Program. If you are a member of the iPhone Developer Program, please register your device in the iPhone Developer Program Port”.

This problem can render your device useless unless you fix this error. Well there is a method to fix this activation error on iOS 7 and here is how.

Requirements:

STEP 1: Connect your iOS device to iTunes.

STEP 2 : Now on your iTunes; ”shift+right click” (Windows), or “Alt+right click” (Mac) on the “check for update”.

STEP 3: Select iOS 7.0.2 IPSW file on your computer and click next (Download from the above link).

Note 1: Some people are reporting that iTunes is not recognizing their iPhone. If that happens simply perform recovery mode.

Note 2: You can simply put your phone in DFU and click restore. iTunes will ask you if you want to download the latest firmware directly from Apple’s servers (only use this if the above one fails).

STEP 4: Wait patiently while your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch is being updated to iOS 7+
