Every year Apple releases an iPhone and the next year is going to be no different but unlike previous years, Apple is going to release the iPhone 7 early because it is going to complete the development cycle of the iPhone 7 early. Details regarding the iPhone 7 release timeframe below.
For the past four years, Apple has been releasing iPhones in late-September which includes this year’s iPhones - iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus. One of the reasons why Apple releases a new iPhone in fall is because that is when most shoppers start looking for new gadgets and especially since Christmas is around that time too.
But all of that might change next year, 2016. According to AppleInsider, Apple is going to release the iPhone 7 early.
The iPhone 7 is expected to have a design change, not just minor tweaks but a complete new design. That is what is expected from Apple whenever they launch an iPhone with a new number.
Another reason why Apple might launch the iPhone 7 earlier than usual is because of investor concerns regarding the slow-down of the iPhone 6S product cycle.
Well, like many rumors online, take this with a pinch of salt. Personally, I don’t think Apple is going to launch the iPhone 7 earlier than usual.
