That’s the day Apple is currently expected to hold its next big media event, according to sources close to the situation, where the tech giant will unveil the next iteration of its popular iPhone.
So folks October 4 is the day when the world will have a chance to see the much-talked about iPhone 5, and also the first time ever people will get a chance to see how the new CEO Tim Cook does on the stage.
And while the iPhone 5 is a much-anticipated handset, the event itself has a lot more importance for Apple than many previous ones.

This media event on October 4 is not just big for the Apple community but for the company itself as it is the first time ever in almost 14 years that the company is not being led by the person who brought Apple from bankruptcy to being the most valuable company in the world.
While this keynote on October 4 will be about the iPhone 5, there has not been any mention about the iPhone 4S or iPhone 4+, whatever name suits you. Would Apple really release the cheaper version iPhone we had been hearing for so many months now?
