It has only been a couple of months since the iPhone 6S was released to the public but it seems that Apple is already finalizing some of the specifications for the next generation iPhone - the iPhone 7.
According to a new rumor, Apple is expected to amp up the RAM for the 5.5 inch iPhone 7 and not only that; Apple is expected to get a new design. The new design is going to focus on making the iPhone more tough so it can be waterproof.
This is one of the first time we are hearing about the iPhone 7 having 3GB of RAM, double than the current generation iPhone 6S. It is going to be a big leap for Apple, which generally does not increase the RAM of iPhones unless they find it necessary. Maybe this is the time for them to up the ante especially considering how Samsung is playing the game.
Regarding the iPhone 7 being waterproof, this is not the first time we are hearing about it. In fact one of the most reliable sources, a Japanese tech blog last month mentioned that Apple was going to make the next iPhone waterproof.
The 3GB RAM and waterproof are going to be the main selling points of the iPhone 7 according to this new rumor.
Well, like all rumors take some of this with a pinch of salt.
