Another day and another news regarding the iPhone 4 unlock 4.11.08, but this time we have some good news for those waiting for the unlock. Applenberry has updated us that they are in the final testing stage for unlocking the iPhone on iOS 5. This has got to be a great news as it shows that they “might” have finally developed the new Gevey SIM to unlock the infamous 4.11.08.
Gevey SIM which has been at the forefront for unlocking iPhone 4 baseband 4.11.08 seems to be taking shape as today Appleneberry mentioned that they are in the testing stages for unlocking 4.11.08, but like previous other updates there has been no mention of a release date.

I thought I made it clear, but I guess there are some miscommunications.
Good news, we are in the testing stage.
Bad news, I don’t want to promise anyone and get flame.
It is very difficult to not offend anyone.
The iPhone 4 unlocking saga continues to remain with many so-called developers claiming to have unlocked the iPhone 4 on iOS 5, but as it has turned out that non so far can actually unlock 4.11.08 baseband.
A promising recent guide shown by Hamzah Akram was proven fake by iPhone dev team leader Musclenerd and baseband hacker Sherif Hashim. So far there is no word regarding the software baseband unlock Ultrasnow which is to developed by iPhone dev team and Sherif Hashim, so people are waiting for Gevey to release their SIM for unlocking iPhone 4.
As Gevey is in the final testing stage, we can expect it to be released soon for unlocking iPhone but Appleneberry has mentioned they are still not providing a release date for the new Gevey SIM.

We keep hearing rumors that iPhone dev team are NOT working on a 4.11.08 unlock which would leave the Gevey Sim as the only alternative. Is there any way to confirm with the dev team that they have moved on to 4s and will not work on a 4.11 08 unlock?

There is not any final stage yet, just test.
So, it would have two possible results:
a) PASS = release soon.
