Now this is definitely a great news for Samsung. According to a new report from the Korea Economic Daily newspaper, Samsung Galaxy S4 pre-orders have hit a staggering 10 million since the unveiling of the device back in 14 March, in New York.

Samsung unveiled the next iteration of the Galaxy series two weeks ago in a rather unusual manner. The event which was held in New York city demonstrated the Galaxy S4 in a broad-way musical style. Although many liked that type of presentation but still there were a few who were completely against it. Well that’s another story, the thing you might be most interested in, is the pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S4.

The number of pre-orders which are 10 million according to the newspaper for the two weeks since the announcement. To put that into perspective, pre-orders for the iPhone 5 were 5 million for the opening weekend.

Samsung Galaxy S4 packs some pretty decent features such as the floating point and Smart Pause, both of which have been welcomed by many people all over the world.

According to recent benchmark scores, Samsung Galaxy S4 is twice as fast as the iPhone 5, completely beating Apple in most of the factors that it was tested in.
