You all will be aware that you can use Voice Search on Google to search whatever you like but now Google is taking a step ahead and has decided to make Google Voice Search work as it does in mobile devices and other search apps on your desktop or laptop!

According to Google, now Chrome will add a ‘conversational’ search and also a brand new interface that will allow users to search with voice commands. This means that you don’t even have to click on the Google Chrome icon, just say ‘ ok, Google’ and Voice Search will be launched! Great isn’t it?

Below is a small example Google gave about how the system will work:

just say, hands-free, “OK Google, will it be sunny in Santa Cruz this weekend?” and get a spoken answer. Then, you’ll be able to continue the conversation and just follow-up with “how far is it from here?” if you care about the drive or “how about Monterrey?” if you want to check whether somewhere else, and get Google to tell you the answer.

From the picture you can see how this new interface will look like, which is quite similar to the interface for Google that is now available on Android devices.  The good news is that the new interface will be available on Macs and all other PCs soon via Chrome.

In this event Google also showcased their some upcoming projects like some music albums, reminder cards, books video games and few other things.
