Well this shouldn’t surprise anyone. Apple has just confirmed a media event for 22 October 2013. This is the media event we all had been waiting for. Apple is going to announce the next generation iPads; iPad 5 and the iPad mini 2 on 22 October. Check out the details below.
iPad Media Event
Apple has today sent out media invites to an event called “We still have a lot to cover”. This event is going to take place on 22 October 2013. If you have been following us for quite sometime then you would know that this event is specially for the next generation iPads.
The 22 October media event had been confirmed before but today we have the official confirmation from Apple.
iPad 5 is expected to have a new form factor and would be lighter than iPad 4 and thinner than iPhone 5. It is also expected to pack an A7 processor with the fingerprint technology of the iPhone 5S. Also on the list is an 8 mega-pixel camera.
Apple is also expected to unveil the iPad mini 2 – which is expected to pack a retina display. The iPad media event is not only going to be about the iPads but also about Apple’s software.
Apple is going to release OS X 10.9 Mavericks which is currently in Gold Master version. Also on the list is an upgrade to Apple TV. An iWatch too maybe?
