Apple is going to unveil the next-generation iPad this October 16 according to a latest report. This will be the first time since October last year that Apple will be unveiling a new iPad. The successor to the iPad Air will be launched this month. Check out the details regarding October 16 here.
We know Apple was going to unveil the next iPad somewhere in the fall but didn’t know an exact date. But now thanks to Re/Code, which has a very good track record when it comes to Apple products, has mentioned a release date.
October 16 is going to be the day that Apple unveils the new iPad Air 2 (not sure what it’s going to be called) to the world. People had been wanting a new iPad and if you are one of them, then you should wait until Apple announces the new one.
One of the new things that is going to be exclusive for the iPad is the gold colour. This will be the first time since 2010, that Apple will launch their tablet in this color, following the success of the iPhone 5s and the current generation iPhones.
Besides the color not much is known about the new devices.
Apple is also expected to launch iOS 8.1 on October 16 alongside Apple Pay, Apple’s new payment service.
