  1. Be careful because 3 or 4 months ago I was so happy to see a phone icon in Whatsapp, so I called a friend in Africa and chat for 30 mins. Later on I got charged for $30 something. When you make a call it does not warn you that you will be using your current phone service provider!! But it does say somewhere in Whatsapp that you will be charged if you use this phone feature which I found out too late.

  2. I am able to install the WhatsApp beta on iPhone and I am able to receive voice calls from other Android phones but I am not getting the Call button / option on WhatsApp.

I have used iModsign to resign the WhatsApp.ipa file to install on the iPhone which is NOT jailbroken.

Any clues to fix this ?

      • Just download iModsign and setup the provisioning certificate in imodsign.

Google for iModsign and you will get all the info.

Once iModsign is setup, you can resign the WhatsApp beta ipa file and install using iTunes.

I am still not able to get the outgoing voice call feature on the iPhone.

        • My iModsign setup was done and easy. But can’t properly install the app that only turn greyed and says installing on the once installed with itunes.
Certificates seems ok, I even recreated them on dev portal but…would like to understand where is the prob?!?
Are you using the last ipa?

          • Yes I am using the latest ipa and the version is 2.12.1.199.

I am still not able to make outgoing voice call on this beta version and there is no solution for this issue 🙁

  3. I have installed whats app beta version on my iphone 3gs. But no one is abl to cal me. The only visible change in my whats app is a debug menu.
