2012 : An Incredible Year For Apple

There’s no doubt that 2012 is the most successful year in the history of Apple. From the very beginning of this year Apple’s popularity graphs are touching the sky. From the launch of iPad till now, to the iPhone 5, there’s a massive increase in the sale and demand of Apple products, all around the world. All this credit goes to the hardworking staff and crew of Apple and to appreciate their efforts ,CEO of Apple Tim Cook has wrote a thanksgiving note to all his staff and there is also a good news for them. According to Tim Cook, the year 2012 was an ‘incredibly successful year for Apple, which has once again showed the power of Apple in this post-PC era. Tim celebrated the success in these words;

Apple is having another incredibly successful year, thanks to all of the hard work by you and your teams. Your focus and dedication to making the best products on earth is what makes Apple such an incredible place.

These words clearly define  the appreciation of Tim Cook for his staffs and members. Apple has always made a unique name in the history of technology but this time Apple has created his own new records and limits by introducing the best smart phone and may other useful iDevices.

He further said:

In a little over six months, we’ve launched outstanding new products in each of our major categories, starting with the new iPad this spring. The response was incredible, and continued to show Apple’s unrivaled leadership in this post-PC era. Over the summer we introduced the radically thin and light 15-inch Macbook Pro with Retina display, and shipped Mountain Lion, the fastest-selling update to OS X ever. Today, the iPhone 5 is taking the world by storm. And in the next few weeks, we’ll ship the new iPod touch and completely redesigned iPod nano with innovative designs that our customers are going to love this holiday season.

Now these words open the secrets of the unbelievable success of Apple. This year was amazingly incredible for Apple because as the year started, most awaited products were unleashed. Like iPad and MacBook pro was revealed in march, then OS X was introduced and finally the biggest hit, iPhone was released. iPhone 5 sold 5 million units in first three days, breaking the record of iPhone 4s, with 4 million units.

It is just the beginning and there’s a lot more to come from the Apple side. Tim also said:

To recognize the efforts that made this amazing year possible, I’m happy to announce that we’re extending the Thanksgiving holiday once again this year. We will shut down with pay on November 19, 20 and 21 so our teams can spend the whole week with their loved ones.

So this was the big news. Apple had announced an extensive vacations of three days for its staff, starting from 19 to 21 of November. Tim’s such great appreciation, would be a huge inspiration for Apple and its members. In the end, credit goes to Steve Jobs, due to his amazing hard work, he established the biggest empire in the world of technology.
