The test for checking the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch battery problem is very simple. Just follow the steps below.
Step 1: On your iOS device: iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, head over to settings.
Step 2: Now head over to General > Usage.
Step 3: Write down the “stand by time” and “usage time” on a paper or some other place.
Step 4: Press the sleep/wake button to put the device to sleep. Don’t turn it off!
Step 5: Place on iPhone, iPad or iPod touch down for exact five minutes.
Step 6: Press the sleep/wake button, to get the device back up.
Step 7: Head over to Settings > General > Usage and check the usage and stand by time.
Step 8: Your device stand by time should have increased by five minutes and usage time by less than one minute. If your usage time has increased by more than one minute - you have a battery drain problem!
