Apple has released iOS 9.1 beta 5 for developers, making it the fifth beta installment in the iOS 9.1 beta series and bringing it closer to the release date. If you are a developer you can now download iOS 9.1 beta 5 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
iOS 9.1 beta 5 brings in the usual improvements and minor bug fixes. There are no release notes with this beta but expect improvements in iCloud Keychain, PhotoKit, UIKit and others.
Some people are reporting that this new beta brings in speed enchantments; although I can’t independently confirm that
iOS 9.1 also brings in new Emojis and once released will bring complete support for the iPad Pro and the Apple Pencil.
There is no confirmed release date for iOS 9.1 but it is expected that it will be released alongside the iPad Pro and the Apple Pencil. Until then expect some more betas.
