This might not come as a major surprise to most of you. Consumer Reports, one of the watch dogs for the tech world in United States has just published its report regarding laptop reliability and you might have guessed it already - Macbook ranks the number one and ranks far above any competitor.
Consumer Reports surveyed 58,000 people in the United States and asked about the laptops reliability and the number of times they have needed to fix their laptops between 2010 and 2015. So the question in this survey is a fair one to judge one of the most reliable laptops and as well as the number of people who have participated this survey.
Apple’s laptop, a.k.a MacBooks top the charts. Both the Macbook Air and the Macbook Pro beat out the entire competition!
Apple laptops have been awarded the most reliable brand award by Consumer Reports. In the report Consumer Reports mentioned that Macbook Air and Macbook Pro have a failure rate of 7 and 9% respectively. Lowest by any comparison.
In the third place comes Gateway’s NV, which has a 13% failure rate. But the lowest of them all is Lenovo’s Y Series, which has a failure rate of 23%.
Well folks, there you go. If you ever wondered which was the best and most reliable laptop in the world; well, at least in America - Macbook is the answer!
