iPhone 6 is going to be a great smartphone if we are to look at the leaks and rumours that have been pouring from the couple of months since they started. Well today we have got some information about the iPhone 6 battery life, and to be honest this is somewhat a disappointment. iPhone 6 battery life is not going to be a major improvement and this is because Apple wants the iPhone 6 to be really slim.
iPhone 6 Battery Life
Apple has an obessesion with slim smartphones, with every new iteration, the Cupertino company wants to release an even thinner iPhone. Apple has such an obession with thin iPhones that it sacrifices other features of the iPhone. This is exactly what Apple is doing this time again with the iPhone 6. They are sacrificing battery life over thinness.
A new report coming out of China mentions that the iPhone 6 is going to have a battery power between 1,800 to 1,900mAh. This battery range is for the 4.7″ iPhone 6, which is not a lot compared to the current iPhone 5s, which has 1,570 mAh.
The larger iPhone, the one with the 5.5-inch display is going to pack in a modest 2,500mAh battery. Even though this might sound a lot but it is still not a lot compared to Android counterparts.
The reason Apple is not including a large battery is because it wants to maintain a very slim iPhone, something which Apple has been known for. Although both the iPhone’s that are coming out later this year are going to be bigger in screen size, but the battery is not going to be a major improvement.
I, for one, would be more happy if Apple releases a thicker iPhone with a large battery life. What do you think?
More battery life please
Thicker iphone pls! And wireless charging. I don’t mind putting my phone on charge every evening, as long as it lasts a whole day.
