We were expecting Google to upgrade its photos app with new features including the much awaited ‘free up space‘ feature but it seems that Google has added another big thing to its massively popular photos app. Well what is it? It’s the new album feature of course.
Today Google Photos got a new feature called albums. Might not sound like a big team but trust me it is. Google is heading in the right direction when it comes to storing your photos online. And, today’s album feature just proves it.
Well what is it? The new feature basically allows you to share your pictures with anyone but the thing that makes it really amazing is the ability for others to add pictures to it and get notified by it.
According to Google Photos:
It’s a new way to pool photos and videos with whomever you want, across any smartphone, tablet pr computer. Just select the photos and tap Share icon, and select Shared Album. People you share the link with can add photos to the album and get notified when new moments are added, no matter what device they’re on.
The whole album feature on the updated Google photos is pretty cool and definitely be tried by everyone. Also has we previously mentioned, Google Photos brought the free space feature. It deletes the pictures that have been uploaded on Google Photos.
If you haven’t tried Google Photos yet, you should definitely give it a go.
