Believe it or not folks, you can order an iPhone 5 right now. Yes you read that right. The telecom giant Deutsche Telekom has started pre-orders for the much awaited iPhone 5.

This is a very strange thing to do as it has not even been confirmed by Apple whether they would even release an iPhone 5 or not. Deutsche Telekom does not even know when iPhone 5 going to be released and have no idea of its specifications.

Bloomberg Reports:

The operator will hand out coupons to people who expressly request the successor model to the iPhone 4, (iPhone 5) without providing the name or release details of the device, he said.

Previous rumors point to iPhone 5 having an 8mp camera, a bigger (4″ inch screen to be precise), 4G LTE capability and an A5 processor (same one being used in the iPad 2)

So why exactly Deutshe Telekom is pre ordering iPhone 5? Well the company “anticipates supply bottlenecks for the device”. That is probably true as the hype of iPhone 5 is just way too much.
