Fix Cydia Errors After Jailbreaking
The first and the most common problem that almost everyone is going to face is that with Cydia that either they are not able to download tweaks / themes (packages) or Cydia not loading at all. No need to panic. This always happens whenever there is a release of a big jailbreak because unlimited number of people try to access Cydia and download packages. As at the time of release of Evasi0n iOS 6.x Untethered Jailbreak the downloads reached up to 100,000 within the first 10 minutes. But there is, as particular, no appropriate solution for this issue. As all you can do is wait for the traffic to get lower.
The next error is that evasion might not recognize your device. This happens because you did an OTA (Over The Air) update to whatever firmware version you are running now. And the solution to this error is simply that you will have to back up your device and then update it to iOS 6.1 again, using iTunes.
The next one is a rare one when it says evasion is not functioning correctly. This occurs because you have a pass code on you device which is going through jailbreaking. In order to fix this error you have to disable the pass code lock on your device and also most importantly don’t touch your computer while its working on the process of jailbreaking.
Moreover, the next error can be that the device might stick displaying “patching kernel”. So for fixing this error you can press Power plus Home button for about 20 seconds to force a reboot. Also you can then try jailbreaking your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch again. This solution is bound to help you fix the problem.
