Apple today released iOS 9.2 beta 2 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. This new beta for iOS devices brings in bug fixes and other minor enhancements but the majority is related to the Safari View Controller, which was also addressed in beta 1. Check out the details regarding iOS 9.2 beta 2 below.
Apple has made fixes in: audio, networking and Safari but there are some things which might still need to be addressed and those are related to the Apple Watch.
iOS 9.2 beta 2 may cause an issue with the Apple Watch regarding syncing music and the stock glance feature.
But the major feature comes in is the Safari View Controller. You can now swipe on the edge to remove the Safari View Controller. Developers need to incorporate this in the latest build.
If you are on iOS 9.2 beta one, simply head over to Settings > General > Software update and the new beta will be there. Just tap on ‘download and install’ and the process will begin.
If this is the first time you are downloading iOS 9.2 beta, head over to the dev center and download the IPSW file from there.
