We all heard that Apple has made a huge profit this year from the sales of its most popular device, iPhone, and it made a staggering increase in the number of sales if iPhones compared to the previous year. Now we have another news that is regarding the number of iPhone 5’s which are going to be produced. Its a staggering 26 million iPhone 5s.
Many Apple fans or lets say, the whole world is waiting for Apple to release the iPhone 5 which according to some reports is 7th September but like all rumors regarding Apple, it can not really be confirmed.
Apple is ordering an estimated 25.5 - 26 million iPhone 5s this 4th quarter to cope up with the demand. This order estimate from Apple comes directly from the producers themselves.
iPhone 5 orders for the third quarter of 2011 have been lowered from seven million units to 5.5-6 million units, while fourth-quarter orders have been raised from 14 million units to more than 20 million units, the sources pointed out. Total orders for iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and iPhone 4 CDMA for the third quarter exceed 20 million units, and fourth-quarter orders have been reduced to eight million units, the sources indicated.
This number is pretty huge for a phone that has not even been given the green light from Apple. What are your thoughts on this?
