F0recast is a tool developed by famous iOS hacker iH8sn0w which tells users details regarding whether their iPhone, iPad or iPod touch can be jailbroken, unlocked, and downgraded or not. Well forecast has been updated to version 1.4 which brings some much needed upgrades.
The new f0recast v1.4 brings the following changes:
Now shows available SHSH blobs stored on Cydia’s TSS server. (kudos to @iNeal for the idea).
Provides a link to the list of firmwares available for the connected device. (Courtesy of @icj_’s API).
Slight UI changes.
Added support for latest scenarios.
Added new devices (iPhone 5, iPod touch 5, iPad mini, etc).
Built-in update check.
Forecast 1.4 now makes this tool compatible with all iOS devices so you might definitely want to give it a try. But unfortunately the new F0recast does not show whether an iPhone can be unlocked or not. The developer mentions the remove of this as due to “legality issues”.
