Apple released iOS 7.1 to the public on 10 March and within the first 24 hours millions of people have downloaded the latest software from Apple. Many people have positive reviews regarding iOS 7.1 except some who have been facing problems regarding the fingerprint Touch ID for the iPhone 5S. iOS 7.1 brings in speed improvements and other UI changes. Overall it is a great upgrade for many people especially those of you who use old iOS devices such as the iPhone 4.
But there are some problems especially for the iPhone 5S users while using the fingerprint Touch ID. The new update; iOS 7.1, causes the finger tech to not work properly.

Fix Touch ID iOS 7.1
Step 1: Restore your iPhone 5S on iOS 7.1.
Step 2: Once restored head over to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode. Now tap on Add Fingerprint and scan your fingers using the home button. Use more than one finger for the Touch ID.
Note: If your fingerprint data is already saved, delete all of it and add the new ones.
Step 3: Reboot your iPhone.
By following the above method the Touch ID on iOS 7.1 should be fixed. If the problem still persists, then you should head over to your local Apple store and get it checked there.
